    A useful prompt states the task, the relevant background, the intended audience, and the desired format. Add constraints that matter, such as length or which source to use. Continue the conversation with specific feedback.

    Before: “Write something about training.”

    After: “Draft a 120-word invitation to a beginner ChatGPT workshop for university staff. Use a friendly professional tone. Include placeholders for date and room, and finish with a registration call to action. Do not invent event details.”

    1. Write your own version for a real task.
    2. Ask ChatGPT for a first draft.
    3. Identify one weakness and request a targeted revision.
    4. Compare the two versions using accuracy, relevance, and clarity.
